sick days in a daze

I have no idea what’s going on in the world around me since I’ve been sick all week.

However, I just now got caught up with my blogs, and one blog in particular is always high on the list of reads: today’s why.i.hate.dc entry. Today, there was such an incredible comment that I had to share. So, thanks “B” for your gracious and hilarious addition to my life:

  Name's Emily, and I'm geeked out by history. Don't be fooled, the 'Vulcan' is a Roman mythological god and now historical figure adopted by my hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Since my fair hometown has deep (and dark) historical roots, I pay homage to dear Vulcan through the namesake on the site (and strangely enough I share his torrid and tragic romantic life).
