There was excitement in the air at the Young Democrats of America and the Democratic National Committee meetings this weekend. Everyone was thinking blue for 2008.
My favorite moment? Barack Obama’s few moments at the DNC podium, and it is worth checking out… There were TONS of younger Dems (18-40) that were hovering around the Exploratory Committee meeting. I’m hoping the committee sees exactly what many young dems have already seen in Obama… and the fact that young dems helped turn the tide in the ’06 election, allowing both Congressional houses to be turned back over to the people… the working class, and the party that belongs to the working class: the Democrats.
Barack Obama in ’08! Here’s hoping he’ll officially throw his hat in on Feburary 10… less than a week away until we’ll know for sure!
