fundamentalist treason

September 29, 2005 · Posted in Political Slants

It seems that one of the Alabama state senators, Hank Erwin has once again opened his mouth and swallowed his foot. Of course, he’s never really sorry about it. But, he receives some major criticism for it. Last time, he completely demoralized the homosexual population here, and now he’s claiming that New Orleans was destroyed because of God’s wrath.

And, now we have a new chief justice. I don’t know how I feel about it yet. I don’t think I even really know anything about him. Chuck Schumer was right… you can’t bet the farm on something you’re unsure of. I’m afraid of what might come to be. You know, the whole intelligent design issue has come up as of late.

It could be a long few years ahead…

I feel the same way about Roberts. He didn’t let me know anything in his Senate hearings, and I am really afraid he will turn over the Roe v. Wade decsion. If he tries it, I will go protest. Might even be arrested, but who cares.

Yeah, we went to a church (Germantown Baptist Church) on Sunday because they advertised that they had an alternative service (which was really just a rock version of the contemporary service) and we had some reading about how wicked the world is, etc.

Regardless of whether or not the world is wicked, you catch more flies with honey.

Dig the design on your blog… looking good. WordPress is a good choice. ;-)

Well the court is hearing arguments on assisted suicide and i think that will be a good Litmus test to REALLY see where Robert’s stands politically.

I’m really fearful of what might drop into the courts soon. The assisted suicide cases are coming in, and before you know it, the intelligent design might get a shot. It could be a bad thing…
